Member Qualification and Agreement

Please read carefully.

Qualifications
There are basically three qualifications you must meet to become a member of the Katy Chapter. First you MUST be ATLEAST 18 years of age with a valid drivers license, you must own a 4 wheel drive vehicle. ATVs, dirt bikes, and other offroad vehicles will be allowed to join on a case by case basis. And finally, you can not be a member of any other TX4WD Cyber Club Chapter.

Agreement

1. Every Club member should display one of the Club stickers (Logo) on their vehicle(s). You must remove any Club stickers from the vehicle if you quit the Club or sell the vehicle.

2. Club members should render aid to other Club members (identified by the Club sticker) if they are broken down and always render aid to anyone stranded on the trail (Render aid to someone in distress whenever possible!).

3. Club members should always act in a way showing responsible off-roading and abide by all traffic laws. Members should respect private property and not trespass.

4. Club members should not consume alcohol while driving (or when they will be driving) and passengers/spectators should drink responsibly while on the trail.

5. Club members and passengers should always wear seatbelts/harnesses and use safety equipment at all times.

6. Members should make every effort to be safe while on the road or trail.

7. Members should not litter (always take out what you bring).

8. Members should always tread lightly (see #7, too).
